Whether your company is a multinational giant or a small local start-up organization the inevitable growth in the cost of traditional energy sources has not escaped your attention. Technologies are emerging to support the smart grid and companies are looking for angles to engage and cut costs – and perhaps save the environment along the way.

Our keynote speaker, Kevin Knobloch, the President of the Union of Concerned Scientists, will provide an overview of the economics of the green ICT industry. Following this introduction, our panel of industry executives and energy innovators will engage in an interactive discussion of projects and investments that are likely to both yield cost savings and deliver environmentally friendly benefits.

MODERATOR: David Levy, Center for Sustainable Enterprise and Regional Competitiveness, UMass-Boston, College of Management

KEYNOTE: Kevin Knobloch, President, Union of Concerned Scientists
